BACKYARD BOUDOIR // SUMMER MINIS // FEATURING COOKIE KENDALL + NELSON HOLLIMAN
You wanna know a secret?
Boudoir photography does not have to be confined to a pretty, perfectly staged bedroom.
In fact, I would say as someone who shoots it for a living, it can be wildly refreshing to take your sexy ass outside for a change. That’s what inspired this summer’s boudoir mini sessions, which were held right in my own backyard. I wanted to give my clients the opportunity to do something creative, light hearted and playful — and the shoots were all of that and more.
Not only did all of our girls look incredible [see Cookie Kendall below + prepare to drool], I even got to shoot a MAN [I believe the term Dudeoir has been coined for this exact situation] in the form of fellow photographer Nelson Holliman, [complete with cowboy hat + boots!!!].
The theme for this mini was everything summer — all you need to replicate the vibe is oppressive heat, a kiddie pool + water hose, your favorite lawn chair + sunnies, and maybe some mosquito killing tiki torches [if you really love yourself]. Happy scrolling!
