Rachel was FANTASTIC. She made me feel so comfortable in my own skin (which is hard to accomplish). I figured I would be nervous the whole time, but in reality, I was eerily calm. She told/showed me exactly what move to make, yet let me have the freedom to move and pose how I wanted. It was also a HUGE help to bring in my best friend so I would feel more at ease. I’ll definitely do these again, and will be using Rachel.
WOW. That's pretty much the only word I keep going back to when thinking about the boudoir shoot I had with Rachel. It was truly an amazing experience. I definitely had my reservations beforehand because a shoot like that is definitely not in my nature. I was even nervous while I was getting my makeup done because you don't know what to expect.
Rachel was so kind and very relaxed which definitely helped me. She gave great direction and advice on everything. She lets you be as conservative or risky as you want. There was no pressure at all. The whole experience made me feel empowered and beautiful. It was the best money I have ever spent. And I haven't even gotten my pictures back!
If you are on the fence about it, I would say, without a doubt, you need to do it.
I was a little nervous to do a boudoir shoot. My body is just not the same firm and thin body it was before having my daughter. Things just hang a little different after kids, am I right? But Rachel talked me through the entire transformation, including where to purchase my clothing and sending over a Pinterest board for inspiration. Full makeup was included (I chose the option to add hair) and she also provided some mimosas to take the edge off! Once the pictures began, Rachel coached me through the whole thing! Telling me how I was owning the session and just really pumping me up and making me feel sexy. Which made me really loosen up and really appreciate myself in my own skin. After seeing the images she captured on that day I am really blown away. I am now able to see myself in a different light. Not the same ol new mom looking in a bathroom mirror at my imperfections, but how Rachel saw me that day. A strong, fierce, hot mama that embraces her curves and pale skin and loves herself for all that makes her different.
Let me just finish by saying, I did this for ME. Because I was ready to embrace the body I have now, and not yearn after the body I used to have. This new beautiful body birthed a healthy and gorgeous baby girl, and that alone is something to be proud of. You have to love yourself, that is something Rachel said to me during this journey and she was right!
Rachel, I cannot thank you enough for opening my eyes to how beautiful I really am, and showing me in a way I never thought possible. You made everything so easy and fun and I would do this again with you in a heartbeat and not even be nervous. I know for a fact I would be in great hands! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
I chose Rachel for a mini session boudoir shoot, and I have never felt more comfortable and confident! I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect, but Rachel was SO fun to work with and made it so easy! I gifted the photos to my new husband the night before our wedding, and he said it is the best gift he has ever been given! Delicate, artistic, feminine, empowering. The boudoir session was everything that I could have hoped for and more. Rachel took care of everything, and I felt instantly at ease with her. Hair and make up was perfect. Mimosas flowing. Beyonce in the background. Incredible photos. Queen for a day.
