NIKKI AND RANDY // JOSHUA TREE, CALIFORNIA

there are landscapes, and then there are landscapes. joshua tree is beautiful in this dr seuss kind of way, which was probably why nobody complained about the three-hour drive. there are lots of places in the world that have made my jaw drop but this is only one (of two, the other being some kind of sulfurous martian mud pit type of situation in Iceland) that has made me feel like I'm maybe on another planet. 

nikki and randy met me at a coffee shop in town and drove out - there were clouds in the distance and we were sure we would lose a beautiful golden hour but instead the opposite happened, and we got some of the prettiest light (although cali is NOT short on pretty light y'all, i see why photographers flock to the west coast). 

SO hard narrowing it down to my favs, but i gave it my best shot. hope you all enjoy!
