Have you ever been to a wedding where the couple exits their ceremony by jumping into a private airplane that whisks them off into the clouds?

Me either, until earlier this year! I gotta say, I think the experience is gonna stick with me for a while! :-)

Alyssa and Jon are the most insanely sweet people; while every couple I shoot is surrounded by loved ones on their big day, I could actually feel the adoration their guests had for them permeating the air. And it’s not hard to understand why — A + J truly embody what it means to have servant’s hearts. They’re so community driven and focused, and we’re very lucky to have them living in ours.

Their big event was held at the home of Donald and Frances McDonald — of MTSU Aerospace Flight School & Murfreesboro Airport fame! — on the very edge of Murfreesboro, and the ceremony itself was the most precious. If you’re a sucker for a weepy groom, John certainly did you proud. And did I mention that they flew off into the sunset by private. fricking. plane?!
