MEET THE WESTS // KIERA + ELLIOT // CHEEKWOOD ESTATE + GARDENS WEDDING // NASHVILLE, TN

Thanks to Disney animated classics like Cinderella, Snow White, & Sleeping Beauty, it’s pretty standard for us girls to grow up dreaming about our One True Love + eventual fairytale wedding. But I just have to tell you: while I shoot a lot of weddings and therefore see tons of beautiful, smitten couples all the time, Kiera & Elliot West [as the kids would say] “hit different.”

These lovebirds had my team creating entire storylines around their photos; for example, my assistant swears Elliot is an English Lord and that they met while Kiera [clearly an American sweetheart] was studying abroad at Oxford. He obviously followed her across the Atlantic when the semester was over, there was definitely a breathless chase through the airport + exchange of I Can’t Live Without You’s, followed by a romantic kiss + commuter applause..…. you get what I’m saying. Imaginations ran wild. LOL!

It was easy for that to happen, though. K + E exchanged vows at Harpeth Presbyterian before heading to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens for bridal portraits and later a private residence for an absolutely stunning reception under the stars. It’s truly the stuff that Happily Ever Afters are made of, so brace yourself to see a couple that sees nothing but each other.
