If I could give Rachel more than 5 stars I would! My daughter got engaged in April and married in July--not a lot of time to plan and certainly not any time to interview vendors. She found Rachel online and just "signed on the dotted line" as we had so little time to pull thisevent together. On the wedding day...this quiet little fairy showed up with her camera and started her job--unobtrusively, without fanfare and totally confident. As the mother of the bride I was hoping for the best (fearing the worst), and praying there would a few good shots. Little did I know that a few days later we would get a sneak preview of about 5 pictures that would totally answer my prayers. I got my few outstanding pictures and I was happy. I knew these had to be the best of the best. But I was wrong. Rachel had pulled a rabbit out of a hat and had made her magic happen, Each photo was better than the last...difficult low light reception shots, squirmy kids, hot venue, humility off the charts threatening to cloud her lens...each situation she overcame and provided stellar pictures that look like they came out of a magazine shoot. She captured to perfection not only the traditional line up of family shots but an impromptu picture of of cute 2 year old sneaking off and making his great grandmother giggle! She adapts to any situation and captures the mood to perfection. Worth noting....we had about 100 guests and she got pictures of EVERY ONE! That was very important to us. Out of the 100s of pictures, there was not a single one with a gray cast or odd lighting. Rachel also has a great eye for positioning people that otherwise don't know where to put there arms or which way to hold their head. She was timely in her correspondence, prompt, did what she said she was going to do and VERY easy to work with. We met up with Rachel in Iceland for a multi-day "adventure" engagement session, which included traversing mossy lava fields, exploring black sand beaches, and wading through a stream to find a hidden waterfall. The conditions were crazy unpredictable -- often time freezing cold with big gusts of wind and mist -- but Rachel found a way to capture some really AMAZING photos that we love. I was a little nervous before our session, since I'm not one to take many photos of myself and haven't had professional photos in ages, but Rachel is so much fun to work with and really makes you feel comfortable (yes, even in the rain and cold). We are returning to Iceland for our wedding next summer and are of course bringing her along for the ride! I first met Rachel at a modeling gig and I've been in love with her ever since. This woman is not only an amazing photographer, but all together an amazing human being! She goes out of her way to make the situation comfortable and fun while always striving to creativity. So it just made sense for her to shoot my wedding back in April. The photos we got back (enagagement and wedding) were nothing but amazing and my family just adorded her! Rachel is seriously one of the best photographers out there. I highly recommend her for all your photo needs--this woman can do anything!

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! My daughter planned her wedding in 10 months and one of the most important things to secure was a photographer. We were so fortunate that Rachel was available for "our" special day. From the first meeting until the last photograph was taken,Rachel was fantastic!! At our first meeting she was professional and knowledge, which is exactly what a nervous "soon to be bride" and "mother of the bride needed". Rachel continued to stay in touch with us throughout the months leading up to the wedding. AND she was able to take Malaina's bridal portraits. They were amazing!! It was hard to choose just one to display at the wedding, so we had two! We knew after seeing the bridal portraits, that the wedding portraits we going to be great!!! On the day of the wedding, I/we were so impressed with how Rachel was able to manage a large group and take so many special shoots without taking away from the ceremony. And she also worked the room taking a lot of photographs of our guests, which will be a wonderful memory for years to come for Malaina and Mark. If you are looking for fantastic wedding portraits from a professional photographer that has a heart for people Rachel is the one for you!!!!!
