it’s our second year shooting Darlin’s holiday collection and it’s always such a special collaboration!
if you’re new around here, it means the world to me to be able to collaborate with like-minded women who understand the unique joys/opportunities/challenges that come with working in a business like ours. while undergarments and sensuality and sex itself are a part of our everyday lives as human beings, there’s still somewhat of a stigma/sense of shame about it [especially in the south], so community is everything. and Katie is an angel, so i’m never going to stop screaming about how important she is to me!
now to the fun stuff! we shot at Madison Country Club in Nashville which is seriously the cutest, girliest space for photos + this year we pulled our girl Timber Rose in - not only is she a familiar face at Darlin, she’s also a costume designer and burlesque dancer in the Rainbow Room Review at legendary Skulls downtown <3
whether you’re here for the links or here for some boudoir inspo - we got you covered :) one of my fave things about this shoot? the pink room is SO SIMILAR to the vibe of Katie’s dressing rooms at the boutique. we couldn’t have planned for it to be as perfect as it was!
